Passionate about design excellence, Derrick is dedicated to ensuring a consistent delivery of buildings from conceptualization to completion. His pragmatic and detail-oriented methodology uniquely positions him to enhance projects significantly during the pivotal transitional phases between concept, design, and delivery.

His extensive portfolio encompasses the oversight of projects spanning various sectors, typologies, and scales. Noteworthy among these is the Park East New Build Estate Regeneration—a transformative initiative involving 320 new homes at Arthur Street in Erith, celebrated for its delivery of exemplary affordable housing. Presently, Derrick spearheads the design team on multiple projects, including SHDF and privately funded low-carbon retrofit initiatives.

Derrick’s expertise lies in Conceptual Design, Architectural Detailing, and Building Contract Management. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to lead teams, effectively manage building contracts, and secure success in architectural competitions with unwavering drive and enthusiasm.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Derrick is an avid enthusiast of Architecture, the Arts, football, and culinary arts. During his leisure time, he indulges in gallery visits and escapes the city to explore new destinations. His diverse interests extend to family visits in the Caribbean and New York, where he relishes the opportunity to explore different cuisines.
