Haringey Infill Housing
Client: London Borough of Haringey
Project Value: £2.8m
Brief: 26 homes across 8 sites.
Sustainability Initiatives: Two of the eight sites have been designed to the passivhaus standard
We were employed by the London Borough of Haringey on a number of small sites across the Borough for development with infill housing. Each project commenced with a basic site analysis which was then developed into a feasibility study. Sites included both empty lots and garage sites some of which were set within the Conservation Area. As such each site, whilst generally of similar size, had its own very specific constraints such as access, rights of way, daylight, TPOs, boundary condition and site levels. The new homes were funded by Housing Revenue Account (HRA) and developed to deliver high quality, affordable, housing to help Haringey meet the changing needs of the community.
