James has been a qualified architect for over 18 years, and has considerable experience in the design and delivery of sustainable buildings, both new build and retrofit. This ranges from one off dwellings to leading teams delivering large scale residential and mixed use projects, as well as achieving net zero carbon.
He is design focused with a rigorous attention to detail, from concept to technical realisation. He works in close collaboration with clients and other consultants, and is passionate about improving people’s lives through well considered, user focused, sustainable design. He is also interested in materials, embodied carbon and waste.
Alongside this, he is involved with providing sustainable design advice for a number of local authority design review panels.
