On the 15th of January 2020 ECD director Alistair Cameron provided a lecture on sustainability to HNC and HND pupils at New College Lanarkshire (NCL). The lecture focused in particular on the Passivhaus and EnerPhit standards, using three of our Passivhaus projects (Conic Way and Montrose Way, Thornhill Primary School and Wilmcote House) as examples.
The ECD Glasgow team have been developing close ties with New College Lanarkshire over the past couple of years. NCL offers HNC and HND courses in Computer Aided Architectural design and Technology. We have provided a number of mock interviews for students as well as had a number of part-time and full-time work placement students from NCL.
