Suman is a qualified Architect having achieved Part III accreditation in 2021 at the University of Westminster. His Masters of Architecture in 2018 at Oxford Brookes University included a specialisation in International Architectural Regeneration and Development, which looked at the collective activities of reusing, adapting and evolving existing buildings within an urban or rural context.
Since joining in 2019, Suman has worked primarily on the Passivhaus certified Thornhill Primary School and residential projects; including affordable housing schemes in Epping designed to Passivhaus standards and the feasibility study of the retention of the tower estates within the wider Carpenters Estate masterplan, leading to the retrofit of James Riley Point designed to EnerPHit standard.
With a strong belief for architecture and good design as instruments to improve lives, Suman hopes to continue expanding his knowledge of all things design and construction having recently undertaking the ‘Building Energy Modelling Using PHPP’ course as one step to help him do so.
