Patritsia Taskova

Patritsia is a Part 2 Architectural Assistant with the ECD Glasgow team, having recently graduated with a Master of Architecture from the University of Strathclyde. She has a strong interest in sustainable design, housing and urbanism, particularly how the spaces between buildings can contribute to successful and inclusive communities.

During her final year, Patritsia explored high-density neighbourhoods through her dissertation, looking at how planning principles, spatial organisation and connectivity influence the way neighbourhoods function. This developed her interest in the relationship between architecture and the wider urban environment.

Following her Part 1 placement at ECD, Patritsia has continued to gain experience across a variety of housing and sustainable design projects. Her experience has strengthened her understanding of the design process and multidisciplinary working, while allowing her to develop her interests in creating sustainable, well-connected places.
