Nikesh Tailor

Architect

Nikesh studied Architecture at the University of Huddersfield, where, in his Masters in Architecture, he studied the rehabilitation of industrial ruins and worked on a project featuring exhibition and performance spaces in Seoul, South Korea. This developed an interest in creative re-use with consideration to environmental impact.

In practice, he has had experience working on bespoke private residential projects, including the retrofit, refurbishment and extension of an existing farmhouse to create an updated, lower energy house.

Nikesh has worked on various retrofit projects at ECD, including a feasibility study into EnerPHit for social housing. He’s currently working on a development site which includes the design of new, affordable, Passivhaus homes.
