Laura Teixeira
Architectural Designer
BSc (Hons), MArch
Laura joined ECD Architects in 2021, having completed her master’s studies in Politecnico di Milano in Italy and the RIBA Part III at the University of Westminster. Her design background includes residential, hospitality, mixed-use, cultural and retail projects with over 5 years of professional experience between the UK and internationally.
Since joining ECD, Laura has worked on London based retrofits, new build and fire remediation projects from one-off to large-scale. She has been involved in design development across stages, most recently delivering Stages 3/4 for residential refurbishments on the Lancaster West Estate and James Riley Point – Carpenters Estate, bringing the homes of the 23-storey vacant tower to Passivhaus standards (EnerPHit).
She is interested in exploring sustainable strategies from concept to detail design stages, facade design, materiality and graphical representation whilst working collaboratively in achieving design solutions that can promote better living standards and meet occupant’s needs.
