Gary Alston
Design & Technical Director
With over 10 years’ experience within architectural practice, Gary has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge working across a range of sectors including; residential, retrofit & repurposing, retail, commercial and educational at varying scales.
His design approach has a key emphasis on the synergy between both concept and technical design, focussing on ensuring high quality schemes, with the highest sustainable credentials, placing people and community at the centre of what we do.
Upon returning to ECD Architects in early 2019 as Design & Technical Director, Gary has been responsible for a number of schemes across our studio, implementing Passivhaus within both residential and educational projects, as well as large net zero retrofit projects.
