Francisco Cerezuela

Francisco Cerezuela is an accomplished architectural technologist with over a decade of experience working exclusively on Passivhaus projects as architectural lead, construction assistant manager, and timber frame specialist, spearheading Passivhaus projects. He holds a degree and a master’s degree in construction management, complementing his expertise as a Passivhaus consultant.

In the last three years, he has focused on leading the Passivhaus consultancy for educational and community projects across Scotland, guiding them through the certification process.

Fran’s commitment to continuous professional development is evident in his recent achievements. In 2022, he earned the prestigious Passivhaus Expert certification, followed by the Passivhaus Construction Verifier certification in 2023. Most recently, in early 2024, he obtained the Passivhaus Building Certifier accreditation.

Currently, Fran is also leading the Passivhaus certification services at ECD Architects. His extensive experience, coupled with his specialised certifications, positions him as a valuable asset in the field of sustainable and energy-efficient construction.
