Dion Corbett

Dion is a qualified Architect and certified Retrofit Designer, who graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2017 with a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Architectural Design. During University, she investigated topics such as community engagement in the planning process and town centre regeneration.

With over nine years of architectural experience, Dion has worked on a wide range of projects, including new build housing developments, public building refurbishments, industrial infrastructure developments, commercial refurbishments, conservation and retrofit design. She has worked on projects at all RIBA work stages and has experience of community engagement, site inspections, contract administration, design team coordination, design development and drawing production. Her experience and exposure has developed since joining ECD Architects and she has been particularly focussed on using her new experience across new build housing developments and retrofit design.

Dion has strong experience throughout the design and development process, including client engagement and technical design. She has the ability to liaise with statutory authorities, produce drawing packages, undertake contract administration duties and coordinate design teams. She has valuable experience coming from previously working for a local authority and understanding of following client processes and procedures.
