Dilveer Kaur Hoonjan
Associate, Architect, Passivhaus Designer and Mental Health First Aider

Dilveer, is a qualified Architect and a certified Passivhaus Designer. She graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2016 with a Masters degree in Architecture and then went on to pass her Part 3 examinations in 2019. During University she investigated topics such as urban sprawl and sustainable cities, multi-storey residential design, and future-proofing domestic buildings for an ageing population.
With over 8 years of professional experience, Dilveer has gained valuable knowledge at all RIBA work stages. Her experience covers both new build and refurbishment work across a range of sectors including residential, education, commercial and healthcare. She has experience of client and end-user group consultation, project and contract administration, 3D modelling and graphic work, design development and production of project information.
Dilveer has a keen interest in community engagement and humanitarian & disaster relief architecture, a passion which has driven her to volunteer on construction and design projects around the world. She has recently qualified as a Level 2 Mental Health First Aider giving her the skills and knowledge to help colleagues and consultants deal with the many stresses and difficulties within our industry.
In 2023, Dilveer won the Business Professional of the Year award at the Scottish Asian & Business Awards. She was also shortlisted for the Architect of the Year award at the Scottish Professional Awards.
