Jennifer Rooney to Run in London Marathon 2016!

Jennifer Rooney will be running in the 2016 Virgin Money London Marathon on the 24th April. Jennifer is an Architectural Assistant in the ECD Glasgow office working on both London and Glasgow projects. This will be her second marathon following her debut in 2014 and she has been training hard through the winter months to ensure she is ready for the challenge. Having received several generous offers of sponsorship, including £200 from the N-Able Group, Jennifer was inspired to run in aid of the Addison’s Disease Self Help Group, a charity which aims to promote better medical understanding of Addison’s Disease (a rare, chronic and potentially-life threatening condition which causes failure of the adrenal glands) and provides information and support for people with the disease and their family and friends. It is a charity which means a lot to her and wearing the ADSHG vest will be excellent motivation to complete the 26.2 miles on the day of the race.
