Bellsmyre shortlisted for Two Planning Awards 2023!

Our Bellsmyre regeneration project has been shortlisted for two of The Planning Awards 2023 placemaking categories – ‘Award for best Housing Scheme (fewer than 500 homes)’ and ‘Award for Regeneration’.
The development significantly improves the quality of the local environment and housing in an area which has been identified as a key regeneration priority. The proposal encourages the local community and wildlife to thrive through the provision of public amenities and emphasising the relationship with open spaces. Using a fabric first design approach, the buildings have been designed to reduce the impact of fuel poverty with an enhanced specification that reduces the heating demand beyond the requirements of the building regulations.
The awards showcase the outstanding work across the planning and placemaking sectors and recognise excellence in planning and associated placemaking disciplines, including heritage conservation, urban design, economic development, partnership working, environmental consultancy, housing and law.
The award ceremony will take place on the 8th of June in London, we look forward to the event!
