Urban Regeneration Workshop: Denmark

James Traynor will be speaking at the Urban Regeneration Workshop next week 9. May from 8h30 to 15h30 at the ROCKWOOL headquarter, Hovedgaden 584, entrance C, Hedehusene.

This workshop will provide a series of inspirational cases from different European countries, showcasing how multiple benefits can be attained from energy renovations of rundown areas, will form the debate in the workshop around the following questions:

  • How can we replicate the positive experiences in future projects? Which are the key ingredients?
  • How can we more effectively design energy renovation projects to improve the quality of life in rundown urban areas? What is needed from the national government/municipality/industry?
  • How can we maximize the social benefits of energy renovation projects?

James will be presenting Wilmcote House, our recently completed EnerPHit project for Portsmouth City Council. This project is currently shortlisted for both the Constructing Excellence and RICS 2018 awards.
