Wafiyah Farouk Lawan

Wafiyah is a first-class Architecture graduate from the University of Lancashire, where her commitment to design excellence earned her a nomination for the RIBA Bronze Medal. Her approach to architecture goes beyond function; she is passionate about creating spaces that evoke emotion and connection through thoughtful use of form, light, and atmosphere.

Alongside her design ethos, she has a strong interest in the technical and sustainable aspects of architecture, particularly how buildings are put together and the processes that bring them to life in practice.

Having first joined ECD as an intern during her studies, Wafiyah has returned to the practice to undertake her placement year. She is now building on her academic achievements by gaining hands-on experience across both design and technical stages.
