Vimbai St John

Vimbai is a Qualified Architect with over 10 years of experience working across all RIBA work stages, with a particular interest in project delivery. She has led teams delivering both new build and refurbishment projects at a variety of scales, from large mixed-use commercial developments to smaller, bespoke schemes.

Her expertise lies in the technical coordination, management, and delivery of projects to BIM Level 2, and she has played a central role in steering design teams through all stages of the process—from concept design and statutory liaison, through tender, construction, and on-site completion. In recent years, she has led several high-rise fire remediation and large-scale retrofit schemes, bringing both technical rigour and creative solutions to complex compliance and client needs.

Vimbai has worked across multiple sectors including residential, education, historic, commercial mixed-use, and stadia. She is particularly skilled in building and maintaining strong client relationships, and enjoys collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. Within ECD, she also supports the BIM team in developing practice-wide methods of working in Revit and maintaining quality standards.
