Renfrewshire Council engaged our team to lead a multi-disciplinary PAS2035 retrofit and regeneration initiative aimed at improving the energy efficiency and sustainability of residential properties across Renfrewshire and their surrounding environments.

Spanning 3,500 homes, including both council-owned and mixed-tenure properties, the project emphasises upgrades that align with PAS 2035 standards and supports the Council’s Energy Efficient Scotland objectives to meet the Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH).

This large-scale endeavour includes internal and external works to domestic properties to ensure the property achieves a standard compliant with PAS2035:2019 Retrofitting dwellings for improved energy efficiency – Specification and guidance.

Renfrewshire views PAS2035 as critical in achieving a higher performance design solution for their works programmes towards delivering an EnerPHit standard within their social and mixed tenure housing stock and includes the regeneration of eight (8) neighbourhoods within the Renfrewshire area.

For this we are providing the full-spectrum PAS2035 services:

  • Retrofit Design: Developing retrofit plans/specifications for internal and external upgrades, including energy-efficient insulation, high-performance windows and doors, and enhanced ventilation systems for improved indoor air quality.
  • Retrofit Coordination: Overseeing the Retrofit Works Contractor to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Retrofit Evaluation: Conducting post-installation evaluations to assess the effectiveness of the retrofit measures and inform any necessary adjustments.

Upgrades to the existing residential buildings, include:

  • Insulation Improvements: Enhancing thermal performance.
  • Windows and Doors Upgrades: Installing high-efficiency replacements.
