As part of our framework agreement we provided guidance on the potential retrofit of a 1960s building and advised of potential energy savings that may result with payback over time. Using asset management data we analysed the existing building portfolio and selected the most appropriate building for retrofit. We then employed Design PH (Beta) software to model the current and potential performance post-retrofit and provided whole life costing with NPV over 30 years to demonstrate value for money. We also provided guidance on modern procurement methods, RIBA stages; Post-occupancy evaluation and Soft Landings to inform future procurement strategies. This project is under consideration and may proceed in due course.
