Shortlisted! BE-ST Accelerate to Zero Awards

Good news for a Friday!
We are pleased to share that together, ECD Architects Ltd, hub West Scotland, Inverclyde Council, Renfrewshire Council, East Dunbartonshire Council, Doig+Smith and RYBKA have been shortlisted for the Accelerate to Zero Awards for the Collaborative Partnership Award.
Hosted by Built Environment – Smarter Transformation (BE-ST), these awards recognise the businesses, organisations and individuals making the biggest contribution to decarbonising the built environment and supporting the just transition to zero carbon.
Working together for shared learning, joint training, and innovative estate-wide analysis, we have:
• Created roadmap strategies aligned with PAS 2038 principles
• Modelled retrofit pathways across 400+ non-domestic buildings
• Developed PowerBI dashboards to engage stakeholders and inform decision-making
• Identified practical retrofit measures to balance energy efficiency, cost, and future resilience
Winners will be announced on 6th November at Oran Mor in Glasgow as part of BE-ST Fest – a free two-day event bringing together the built environment ecosystem dedicated to coming together as a sector to explore the reality of bringing about real change, the risks, trade-offs, and how to scale the strategies and solutions that actually work.
