Dion to speak at Gia

We are pleased to share that Dion Corbett will be speaking at the upcoming #GIA Sustainability Talks and Tours in Dumfries.

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: The Standard, 135–139 High Street, Dumfries, DG1 2BA

The event will begin with a tour of the Standard Building and Midsteeple Quarter properties, followed by a presentation at 4:00pm from Dion and Gordon Fleming.

The Standard is the first completed building project by Midsteeple Quarter, a community-led initiative working to regenerate Dumfries High Street. It provides flexible enterprise, commercial and residential spaces with a strong focus on environmental performance and long-term adaptability, and was recently recognised as the Scottish Design Awards Gold 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 in the Affordable Housing category.

This talk will highlight both the sustainable design of The Standard and the socially sustainable regeneration model pioneered by Midsteeple Quarter.
