Dion Corbett to speak at Institute of Historic Building Conservation event

April 4, 2025
We’re delighted that ECD architect Dion Corbett will be speaking at the upcoming IHBC Scotland Branch “Redefining Place” event on Thursday 24 April in Dumfries.
Hosted by the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) in collaboration with RTPI Scotland, this one-day conference brings together experts in building conservation, planning, regeneration and tourism to explore the important role of heritage-led regeneration in shaping places that are resilient, vibrant and community-focused.
Dion will be sharing insights from Midsteeple Quarter, a pioneering community-led initiative to transform Dumfries town centre through local ownership and long-term regeneration. As Volunteer Director and Secretary of Midsteeple Quarter, Dion has been closely involved in the group’s bold and inspiring vision for a town centre that reflects the needs and aspirations of the community it serves.
