Staff Excursion to Grahame Park Finishing On Site

ECD Grahame Park new build housing project finishing on site

November 29, 2024

Last Friday members of our London team visited our Grahame Park project which is currently completing on site. Delivered in partnership with Wates Group for Notting Hill Genesis and Barnet Council, this redevelopment is set to make a significant impact.

It was a beautiful day and the new development was looking good. Visiting the project, the team had the chance to appreciate the progress and the quality of the new development, which will soon provide 209 affordable homes. The scheme features three blocks of flats (7 to 10-storeys) and a series of 3-storey townhouses.

Designed with wellbeing and sustainability in mind, Grahame Park integrates extensive greenery, pedestrian and cycling spaces, and biodiverse rooftop gardens. Enhanced transport connections include improved bus routes and EV charging points to support greener travel.

The homes are oriented east-west to maximize natural light, with balconies or terraces for every flat and full-height windows in most bedrooms. Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) systems ensure excellent air quality, further promoting resident wellbeing.

Aligned with the RIBA Sustainable Outcomes and the London Plan 2020, the project prioritizes sustainability with an operational energy target of 90 kWh/m²/year, water-saving systems, rainwater harvesting for courtyard irrigation, and an embodied carbon target of just 73 kgCO2e/m² for a two-bed flat.

We’re proud to see this thoughtfully designed, sustainable community taking shape – and look forward to it being professionally photographed!
