Please join us in congratulating Federica on completing her training and passing the exams to become a LEED Green Associate!

Developed by the USGBC, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the world’s most widely used green building rating system. LEED certification provides a framework for healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green buildings, offering significant environmental, social, and governance benefits. As a globally recognised symbol of sustainability achievement, LEED certification is backed by a dedicated industry of organizations and individuals driving market transformation.

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a non-profit organization committed to fostering prosperous, healthy, and resilient communities. Green building practices have never been more important. They save money, improve efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and create healthier spaces for people. These practices are essential for addressing climate change, meeting ESG goals, enhancing resilience, and supporting more equitable communities.

LEED Green Associates are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote and implement green building practices in their workplaces and communities. The exam measures general knowledge of green building practices and how to support others working on LEED projects. Federica has been a valued member of ECD for over 5 years. Her expertise lies in sustainability and creating functional solutions for new and existing buildings and Passivhaus designs, as well as utilising the Passive House Planning Package (PHPP) to ensure optimal energy performance and comfort. Her work reflects a commitment to creating sustainable, resilient and adaptive built environments.

By achieving this certification, Federica has gained a valuable credential that empowers her to make a positive impact on the environment. Her expertise encompasses the LEED process, integrative strategies, LEED credit categories, and project surroundings and public outreach. We are incredibly impressed with Federica’s achievements and look forward to seeing how her new skills and knowledge will be integrated into our projects.
