ECD Supports Winter Warmer Appeal

We are very pleased to have donated £200 for the purchase of new jackets and wellingtons for children living in poverty in Glasgow. Each Christmas, hub West Scotland and their charity partner the PEEK Project hold an annual #winterwarmer appeal.
As Christmas approaches, it is hard to imagine children going without winter jackets and wellington boots to keep them warm in the cold months across the festive season and into 2022. Figures show that one in three children in Glasgow are living in poverty and so they won’t have the appropriate clothing required to keep them warm. To help support these children and families, hub West Scotland has launched their #winterwarmer appeal alongside charity partner PEEK (Possibilities for Each and Every Kid).
