Our response to COVID-19

News article re ECD Architects response to COVID-19 and our continued quality support for our clients and their stakeholders

March 25, 2020

As the COVID-19 crisis has been deepening day-by-day, we have been reviewing our operations and putting plans in place to ensure that we are following, and complying with, government guidance. This is to keep people safe and reduce the risk of spreading the Coronavirus infection whilst, at the same time, ensuring we continue to provide the appropriate service and support to our clients and construction project partners.

All our teams are able to work remotely no matter where they are located. This enables them to collaborate both across the business and externally accessing all necessary IT software and systems from home. We can communicate through email, telephone and video conferencing facilities to avoid face to face contact.

Where construction sites remain open and the contractor’s policy allows visitors, (subject to all Public Health guidelines being observed and transport being available), it is our intention to continue to visit sites to carry out our duties, wherever this is possible.

Our Senior management team are meeting regularly at both strategic and operational levels to ensure that we continue to deal appropriately with all the challenges of managing a business in such unprecedented times. We remain fully operational and will continue to provide the highest level of service to our clients.

I am confident your usual contacts at ECD will always be pleased to hear from you, but I will also be available to take your call should you have any questions or concerns.

Take care and be safe,

James Traynor
