London Energy Transformation Initiative (LETI)

ECD are proud to have made a donation to the London Energy Transformation Initiative (LETI), to support the dissemination of their new Climate Emergency Design Guide.

Gabriella and Louise were involved in the production of this document which is a really useful resource for all building designers, clients, contractors and policy-makers.  As well as explaining the goals we need to meet to achieve zero carbon buildings, it sets out a pathway to get there, down to practical details, such as suggested U values and what energy-use data should be reported.

Several members of ECD’s team attended the launch event of the guide. This was an informative and inspiring event.  We were reminded to respond to the Part L consultation, and this week many of us spent one lunchtime filling in the response survey, aiming to ensure that Future Homes Standard actually leads to buildings that are fit for the future.
