James will be at the London Constructing Excellence Awards Club on Tuesday 14 May where he will be presenting our Wilmcote House project and discussing resident issues of fuel poverty by reducing energy bills from up to £2,000 to nearer £200 per year.

LCEC’s monthly events offer experts and innovators an opportunity to share their knowledge and experience with our members – in line with Constructing Excellence’s Mission and Vision:
“Positively disrupting the industry delivery processes to transform performance.” “Superior outcomes from new delivery models featuring:

− A client-led transformation by procuring for outcomes and value
− Increased standardisation and pre-manufactured content
− Digitally enabled integrated teams working collaboratively with long-term relationships and aligned commercial arrangements.

Wilmcote House was winner of the Constructing Excellence Sustainability Award in 2018.

“In this category we look for tangible improvements in performance achieved as sustainability is embedded in delivery” explains Jenny Stafford, Sustainability Consultant, Temple Group; lead judge and sponsor of the Sustainability Award.  “A flagship scheme, Wilmcote House provides a fantastic example of a sustainable low energy refurbishment and a national and international reference for delivering the stringent EnerPHit standard, the refurbishment equivalent of Passivhaus.”
