Construction Excellence Awards 2016

July 6, 2016

We are pleased to announce that the Stevenson Building Extension has been shortlisted for the CEF Construction Excellence Awards 2016.

The aim of the Construction Employers Federation Awards is to promote excellence and to give recognition to those companies who are achieving the highest standards of construction. The kudos of winning an award continues to grow each year.

The Stevenson Building Extension is enabling the University of Glasgow to provide the best gym facilities in the Country. It empowers all students (current and future) by providing engaging opportunities for all levels of ability that enhance student experience and enable the support of academic and sporting excellence.

The judges have shortlisted the entries across 14 categories with finalists attending a 20 minute interview as well as submitting a display board, a schematic and video of the project.

This year’s Showcase will take place at the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine at Queen’s University Belfast on 7 September and will give finalists the opportunity to demonstrate the excellence of their project to customers, suppliers and industry professionals.

The winners will be announced at a Gala Evening on 6 October at the Culloden Hotel.

The full list of finalists is available from the CEF website.
