Opportunity to Tour High Rise Construction Site!

Loreana Padron will be providing tours of the Wilmcote House residential high rise construction site:
Friday, 13 November 2015:
• Session 1 – 12.45pm
• Session 2 – 2.15pm
This is an exciting opportunity for organisations managing high rise and large residential blocks to see first-hand what and how these buildings can be regenerated and improved.
Each session consists of a presentation followed by a tour of the construction site organised by client, Portsmouth City Council, and the project contractor, Keepmoat. (Max people / tour: 25)

Currently under construction, Wilmcote House is the only UK participant in the EuroPHit project, led by the Passivhaus Institute, which trails step by step refurbishment. 100 three-bedroomed maisonettes and 7 one-bedroomed flats are arranged in three towers linked with common stair cores. Work will occur with tenants in-situ and will become the largest UK refurbishment aiming for EnerPHit Standard.
This event is being provided as part of the UK Passivhaus Open Days 2015.
