Sheringdale Primary School achieves planning permission

We are pleased to announce that our proposals for the expansion of Sheringdale Primary School in Wandsworth have been given planning consent by Wandsworth Council.

These proposals expand the school from a 1FE to 2FE.

Sheringdale Primary School is located in a suburban area in the Southfields Ward of Wandsworth. The school grounds consist of a tight site, hemmed on all sides by residential properties, with the main (pupil & parent) accessed from a narrow pedestrian alleyway.

The proposals to expand the school provide a two storey extension of 8 new classrooms. This new extension plugs into the existing classroom block creating a shared corridor space with lightwells to enhance the school’s learning environment.

The proposals further include a new administration block for teachers and staff, remodelling works for the relocation of the school library, expand the main hall, and expand the entrance and reception area to create a welcome and waiting area.

This project is expected on site in October half term.
