Brief:
Masterplan to redevelop the existing Queenshill Estate and provide a mixed tenure community of 400 homes

Passive solar design, group heating system, sustainable transport initiatives
Forming the first phase of the Queenshill estate masterplan, this new build extra care home, will provide 62 one- and two-bed extra care units with associated communal areas and administration facilities.
Built around a secure courtyard, these apartments are built to their maximum height level while remaining unimposing (responding to local neighbour concerns) and fully accessible.
ECD has worked extensively with planning authorities and fire safety officials to ensure that these flats are both safe and secure for their future residents.
