The British Estate transferred to the ownership of EastendHomes following a successful LB Tower Hamlets Stock Transfer ballot and ECD’s masterplan, which identified sites for six new building, was approved.
Consisting of 179 flats on four infill sites including retail space and community centre, ECD was further commissioned to design these six buildings the sale of which then cross-subsidised the improvement works on the existing estate.
Ranging in height from three to six storeys, ECD worked closely with the local authority and residents ensuring all queries with regard to the new building design were fully addressed that planning was achieved without difficulty.
