New extension at the northern end of Castle Hill Primary School to provide accommodation for KS2 pupils. This will require: eight new classrooms (to replace the temporary accommodation currently in use), a new library and ICT suite, a SENCO office and space for a Speech and Language Specialist as well as improved staff and pupil toilets and additional playground space.

A further extension has also been designed to accommodate the school need for a new kitchen/dining hall, Deputy Head's office, family liaison room, and extended schools/community space.

The Head Teacher felt it was important that this new extension blend with the existing school buildings and be a single storey for ease of access and engagement with parents. ECD is working with the school and applying holistic solutions that also address the other technical issues affecting the whole school such as security, fire strategy, heating and accessibility. This will be the first project in the Primary Capital Programme for Kingston.
