The 4 storey narrow plan building forms an extension to the Queens Building on an east west axis with a long frontage along the River Chelmer. Accommodation includes flexible teaching space, laboratories, music suite, multi purpose hall and offices. The cooling strategy involves night time ventilation in contact with exposed thermal mass.
