A state of the art B1 industrial building with annual energy consumption 40% below CIBSE guidelines
Sustainability Initiatives:
Daylighting, natural ventilation, night cooling
Competition winning design for a high tech B1 building subsequently occupied by a specialist optics company. The single storey building provides flexible space with all services located on the outside of the building. The internal space is cooled by water passing through the concrete floor slab at night, served by an off peak evaporative cooling unit.
